Purpose of the Course
«The Management Informatics Licentiate intends to be innovative when it comes to the graduate’s profile. A solid education in the field of informatics associated to a profound knowledge of the structures and procedures of a business entreprise is what makes it so innovative. In order for this to be acheived, its management component was planned so that the graduate, although not as trained as a manager, possesses a complete knowledge and understanding of how an organization functions.
The informatics component covers three different areas: computer sciences, where the fundamental issues pertaining to the field of informatics are taught, solidly and thoroughly; computer engineering, which complements the first area, gives an overall view of computer and communication technologies; finally, there is informatic management, which is the component of specific training and education, giving an exhaustive approach to issues about information systems and their automation.
The enormous demand of technicians in the field of information technologies assures a wide range of employment possibilities to the graduates of this course.» – The Course Direction
